No surprise to Fudzilla readers

Ahead of E3, our sources are now confirming the specifications for the PSP Go, which will be officially launched at the Sony Press Conference at E3. Our sources can confirm much about the specifications that we have already told you about recently.

The PSP Go will be a slider, as we suspected, and it will ditch the UMD drive as we had already explained. The display will be 3.8 inches, but the exact resolution still is a mystery. It will be an estimated 43% lighter than the previous version of the PSP. The PSP Go will also include 16GB of on board flash memory with support of a Micro Memory Stick slot for additional storage. Bluetooth support will come to the PSP Go with both headset and mobile phone tethering support.

With the PSP Go launch new titles will include Gran Turismo, Little Big Planet and Metal Gear Solid. The PSP Go will offer full PlayStation Network support with full integration with the PS3, along with TV and movie rental/purchases.

Looks like this could be the ticket for Sony to steal the best of show for E3, but we will have to see how things play out with rumors of an expected mystery announcement from Microsoft that is said to be a big deal.
