    Political opponents of President Putin are finding there websites are being bought down by sophisticated cyber attacks.


The groups claim the Kremlin is behind the bot-net attacks which they say are an attempt to stifle Russia's last source of free, unfiltered information.

Victims include a broad swatch of Russian politicians liberal democrats to ultranationalists. They claim that it is a bid harass the oppositionwith the approach of parliamentary elections in December and presidential elections in next March.
