Mows your lawn

Boffins at
the University of Southern Denmark have developed a Casmobot robotic lawnmower, which is operated using a Nintendo Wii remote. At last you can mow the lawn while sitting on your deck sipping beer, and if you like you can also play mowing pacman.

Kjeld Jensen siad that the Casmobot project is about making grass cutting more efficient. It uses a  standard motion-sensitive Nintendo Wii 'Wiimote' controller to communicate via Bluetooth technology to a computer and robotics module built in to the mower.

If you tilt the Wiimote forward, the mower goes forwards, tilting the Wiimote backwards puts the lawnmower in to reverse. Users can guide the mower to map out the borders of a lawn, and then leave it to automatically cut the area on its own.
