Angled little thing

Scythe has officially announced its newest angled CPU cooler, the Katana 3, previously pictured at CeBIT,

This rather small CPU cooler sports a 92mm fan that spins from 300 to 2,500RPM and features Slant Pipe structure which allows it to cool motherboard components as well. The new Katana 3 measures 94 x 108 x 143 mm, weighs 495 grams and supports Intel's 478, LGA775 and LGA1366 sockets as well as AMD's 754, 939, AM2, AM2+, AM3 and 940 sockets.

According to the data sheet it should produce up to 31.07 dBA of noise at 3000RPM and 7.2 dBA when spinning at 300RPM. It has six heatpipes and a large base plate made out of nickel-plated copper.

The cooler should be available immediately at a suggested retail price of US $32.00 and €16,75 excluding tax of course.
