Has ATI graphics??

Now, we're not quite sure what to file this one under, but we have a feeling that it's an error on MSI's behalf, as the specifications that are currently on MSI's website suggests that the new Wind U110 ECO comes with ATI Mobility Radeon 3200 graphics.

Considering that the U110 features an Atom Z530 CPU clocked at 1.6GHz paired up with Intel's US15W chipset which features integrated GMA500 graphics and only two PCI Express x1 lanes, it's a bit hard to see how this could be possible. There's also no other mention in the entire press release to support the fact that this would be the case, but we'll have to wait for MSI to come clean on this one.

The rest of the spec include 1GB of DDR2 memory, although MSI lists possible support for up to 2GB of memory, at least a 160GB hard drive, a multi-format card reader, support for 802.11b/g/n WiFi, although some models might not come with the last option, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR (possibly optional), a 1.3 or 2 Megapixel webcam, a 10-inch 1,024x600 display, three USB 2.0 ports, a D-sub connector, Gigabit Ethernet and a pair of audio jacks. There will also be options of 3 and 6-cell batteries. Supposedly there will also be an optional optical drive for the U110 ECO.

MSI claims up to "around 9 hours" battery life, that's with the 6-cell battery mind you, which sounds pretty decent, although not entirely unexpected considering the choice of CPU and chipset. The U110 ECO measures 260x180x31.5mm (WxDxH) at its thickest point and it weighs about 1kg with the 3-cell battery installed.

No word in pricing or availability as yet.
