In 1,400+ stores

Blockbuster announced on Monday that it would expand its high def offer to more than 1,400 of its stores from the current 250.

The company has been renting out HD movies in both formats in 250 stores since late last year, but now it seems that they have opted for Blu-ray as its only format.

Apparently 70 per cent of customers went for Blu-ray during the past few months, and the company just listened to popular demand.
