Released exhibitor list shows many majors

With all of the complaining about E3 in recent years, the news that the show would be significantly overhauled this year with a return back to what made the show successful has met with suspicion by many.

With new policies that will allow more people to get a look it seems that the show has been able to repair at least some of the damage, with many of the companies that were some of the most outspoken critics of the show in the last couple of formats throwing their hat into the ring and deciding that they will be exhibiting at E3 this year.

Some of the major companies that will be in attendance this year include Activision, Atari, Konami, Microsoft, Bethesda Softworks, Capcom, Midway, MTV Games, Namco Bandai, Nintendo, Disney Interactive Studios, SEGA, Electronic Arts, Eidos, Epic Games, Sony, Square Enix, Take-Two Interactive, THQ, Ubisoft and Warner Brothers Interactive.

While the final lineup of exhibitors is not yet completed, it would appear that E3 has succeeded in gaining a good deal of support. According to reports, this year at E3 the show organizers have instituted a relaxed policy around admittance, allowing more media, retail associates and bloggers to attend the event. It can’t hurt that the ESA is welcoming both members and non-members alike this year, as well.
