Should be able to pick it up on February 11th

As suspected, AT&T will not be first out of the gate with the BlackBerry Curve 8900 (better known as codename Javelin) in the U.S.  Instead, we have learned that T-Mobile in the U.S. will beat AT&T to the release of the Curve 8900.

From what we hearing, T-Mobile plans to have the 8900 available starting February 11th in limited quantities with general inventory available to all T-Mobile resellers starting February 18th.  From what we have been able to tell, right now T-Mobile is not accepting pre-orders for the 8900 at this time via the Web site.

As for AT&T, we continue to hear that they will be getting the Curve 8900 as well. Right now, AT&T is enjoying the launch of the Curve 8320 while they continue to work their way through the inventory of 8310s that they still have in stock. At some point we expect them to switch completely over to the 8320 just prior to the launch of the 8900.

Our sources are suggesting that we can expect to see the 8900 on AT&T as soon as this spring, but it might happen sooner, depending on demand and inventory levels.
