Up to 10h battery life

A few more details have been revealed about MSI's 13.4in X320 netbook and with an optional battery it's capable of up to 10h battery life. This could make it appealing to those that need a fairly light notebook on the go with extremely long battery life.

However, there's a catch, as the X320 ships with a 4-cell battery, but to get the 10h battery life, you need to opt for the extended 8-cell battery which is likely to add a fair bit of bulk and weight to the slim and light X320.

The X320 doesn't have a vast amount of connectivity options either, as it only seems to have three USB 2.0 ports, a D-sub connector, a pair of audio jacks and a memory card reader. It seems like MSI has sacrificed connectivity over a slim and light weight design with the X320.

Price wise we're hearing US$799-899 (€589-662/£530-598) which isn't exactly cheap for a system with an Atom Z-series processor at its core, but it's at least cheaper than the Vaio P-series from Sony. We're still waiting for more details, but we'd expect the X320 to at least feature WiFi and Bluetooth on top of what has already been revealed.
