Some with Atom, some with mobile Core 2

It looks like MSI is ready to take on Asus' Eee Top as the company is planning to unveil a wide range of all-in-one systems at CES which kicks off in a couple of days. MSI will have models both with Atom processors and models with mobile Core 2 processors.

There will be three different ranges, the E for Entertainment, the P for Professional and the C for Classic. The E-series machines will feature mobile Core 2 processors, 16:9 displays with 1,920x1,080 resolution (most likely 21.5in panels), Intel's G45M chipset and some will even have Blu-ray drives.

The P-series looks like a cheap version of Apple's iMac, although with less flair. MSI is using a 19in panel for these systems and the CPU is an Atom N270, so don't expect too much from these machines. Finally the C-series has possibly the nicest design out of the three, although somewhat similar to the Eee Top, MSI has the edge here in our opinion. The only downside is that the screen might be a little bit on the low side for a comfortable working position unless you're using in on a computer desk with a raised area for the display. The C-series will be powered by a dual core Atom 330 processor.

We should have more details once CES kicks off later this week and we'll bring you more details of these machines as and when MSI releases more information.
