Guyanese president impersonated on Facebook
Releases the hounds
Bharrat Jagdeo, the President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, is asking his police force to find out who is impersonating him on Facebook.
Jagdeo claims he's not a member, yet he has a Facebook account and a fan site with 174 supporters, which is actually not that bad, as most politicians would struggle to get more than 2 fans, family included. The site features two photo albums and three comments on the wall, including one that questions the authenticity of the profile.
In a statement released last week, Guyanese government officials said they have also found a spoof profile of Jagdeo on hi5, another social notworking site.
