Most likely with a hard drive

Although we don't have a lot of information with regards to the new S101H, we presume that much won't change compared to the current S101, but the H in the model name is suggestion that the new model will get a hard drive in favour of an SSD drive.

This should allow Asus to reach a wider range of users and it should also abolish the current issues with the limited storage size of only 16GB on the Windows XP model. This is due to the fact that Microsoft has some funny regulations that limits the size of the SSD drive in a netbook if the manufacturer wants to buy the discounted Windows XP licenses.

The possible bad news, apart from the fact that you get a mechanical drive or an SSD, is that due to the S101's fairly slim chassis, we have a feeling that it'll be limited to a 1.8in hard drive rather than a 2.5in model which most likely means that it'll be a very slow drive that Asus will fit into the S101H.

We'll keep an eye out for more details on the matter, but we don't know when Asus is set to unveil the S101H.
