With Intel Cherry Trail SoC and Windows 10 OS

Minix has announced its newest mini-PC that should offer premium Windows 10 experience on Intel's Cherry Trail, all packed in a fanless mini-PC chassis, the Minix NEO Z83-4.

Equipped with Intel's 14nm Cherry Trail X5-Z8300 quad-core SoC with 2MB of cache, 1.44GHz base and 1.84GHz burst frequency, Intel HD graphics and 2W SDP, the new Minix NEO Z83-4 should pack enough performance for most standard office and entertainment tasks.

What makes the Minix NEO Z83-4 special is that it is a completely silent, fanless mini-PC and also comes with 4GB of DDR3L memory and 32GB of Samsung eMMC integrated storage, which should be enough for Windows 10 64-bit OS as well as quite a few files.

The rest of the specifications include 802.11ac dual-band WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, DisplayPort and HDMI outputs as well as a single USB 3.0 and a couple of USB 2.0 ports.

According to Minix, the new NEO Z83-4 mini-PC should be available on September 16 with a suggested retail price of US $169.90/€169.90/£144.90.
