The SF600 and SF450

Corsair has announced its newest and first power supplies based on the SFX form-factor, the Corsair SF600 and the SF450.

The new SF-series PSU lineup from Corsair is based on a fully-modular desing, have 80 Plus Gold certification, which means it has 92 percent efficiency at 50 percent load, and also features high-end components like 100 percent 105°C rated Japanese capacitors.

The new Corsair SF-series PSU will be available in two power outputs, 600W SF600 and the 450W SF450. Since these are SFX form-factor PSUs which are used for small cases, a fully-modular design is a must due to limited space. In addition to the modular design, Corsair also equipped its SF-series with Zero RPM Fan Mode, which does not spin up the bottom-placed 90mm fan at idle and medium loads.

The Corsair SF-series comes with a seven-year warranty and should be already available with a suggest price of US $119.99 for the SF600 and US $89.99 for the SF450.
