Silliest product for Apple fanboys yet

Selfie sticks for laptops

Just when you thought that Apple products could not get dafter, one bloke thinks that the world needs a Macbook Selfie Stick.

The tool allows you to mount your favourite overpriced notebook at the at the end of a long telescoping pole for easy self-portraits with the built-in iSight camera. The concept has a lot of things going for it. For a start it allows Apple fanboys to show off their Macbook to uninterested passers-by.

It is so big, and so heavy it screams “look at me, I wasted money on an expensive gadget and I am not frightened to show the world how stupid I am.”

Of course you would have to be the Incredible Hulk to be able to carry it around or lift it too much and that would put it out of the range of most fanboys. Still we think the pictures tell the story about what using this gadget is like.

Fortunately the gadget isn’t commercially available yet to lower the standards of the world still further. It was created as an art project by Moises, John Yuyi, and Tom Galle. Depending on public reaction and interest, however they might inflict it on the rest of us.  Anyway the pictures tell the story of the nightmare which might be upon us.
