Benchmarking outfit Rightware behind it

Rightware, the company behind the Basemark mobile benchmark received a plug by Audi during its Super Bowl commercial.

Rightware makes the Kanzi user interface that was featured in the new 2016 Audi R8 commercial.

Tero Sarkkinen who is a founder, Chairman of the Board & CEO at Basemark and Member of the board at Rightware was especially proud of this achievement.

We have known Sarkkinen from his days at Futuremark, where he worked as a CEO and Sarkkinen was one of the few to realise the importance of performance measuring in the mobile industry. Yes, we really have known Sarkkinen personally for more than a decade. Fudzilla started with benchmarking CPU’s and GPUs before expanding into a broader mobile, IoT market. We will probably end up doing Virtual Reality benchmarking as soon as one comes out.

Rightware realised that you needed to benchmark car user interfaces in the same way you do mobiles. Its digital cockpit is currently featured in Audi A3, Audi TT, Audi Q7 and Audi R8. These cars are in the shops now.

The Kanzi user interface can be used for embedded solutions, mobile environments or industrial-grade user interface.
