EVGA announces new SuperNOVA P2 Series PSUs

With 80 Plus Platinum efficiency rating

EVGA has announced its new EVGA SuperNOVA P2 power supply lineup which will be available in 650W, 750W and 850W versions and feature 80 Plus Platinum efficiency rating.

Based on a fully modular design, the new EVGA SuperNOVA P2 power supply lineup also comes with high-quality 100% Japanese capacitor design and features all the usual protections as well as the new ECO Control Fan system which does not spin the bottom placed double ball bearing fan under low to medium load.

As noted, the new EVGA SuperNOVA P2 PSU series comes with 80 Plus Platinum certification since it offers up to 94 percent efficiency at typical loads and 220-240VAC (92 percent at 115VAC).

As expected, all three models offer Nvidia SLI and AMD Crossfire support and will be backed by EVGA's 10-year warranty.

The entire new EVGA SuperNOVA P2 PSU series should be already available with a suggested price set at US $179.99 for the 850W model, US $149.99 for the 750W model and US $119.99 for the 650W model.
