Selfie stick banned at Arsenal

by on09 January 2015

Fears they can be weaponised

The selfie stick, which enables those without friends to be photographed at historical landmarks, has been banned by the administrators of the Arsenal football team.

We wondered if it was because it broke the rules related to the publicity of the overpriced, low lives who are paid a fortune to kick a ball around, but apparently the reason is more bizarre than that.

The selfie stick has since been banned on matchdays at the Emirates Stadium over fears that they could be weaponised by the thugs that turn up to matches spoiling for a fight over which overpriced football team is superior to another.

Although to be fair anyone that goes into battle with a selfie stick is probably, going to get a good ribbing from his mates who will be armed with more manly objects like bottles, bricks, or softball bats.
It would be a jolly weird and narcissistic riot where the rioters were both hitting each other and photographing themselves doing it.
