It is time for the monthly Xbox One update firmware rollout. The features this time around really focus on two areas which are improvements and enhancements to the Snap functionality and new abilities and functionality for interacting with your friends.

The update isn’t available in all territories just yet, which is actually part of Microsoft’s release plan when it pushes new updates out. If your System Update button is greyed out, be patient as you should get it automatically in the next few days or you can always check back.

The improvements this time around are pretty major and are darn good. We have to admit that when Microsoft said it would be on a quicker release schedule than it was on Xbox One to update the system, we really didn’t know what to expect, but so far they have done a great job getting the updates out quickly and really enhancing the user interface. It seems to quite to get better with each update. One has to wonder if Microsoft is on a roll here.
