Apples iTunes upgrade ignores users

Apple's clunky iTunes software has just been given a make over, but few of the things that users have been moaning about appear to have been included.

iTunes 7.7.1, appeared through Software Update  promised fixes to improve the stability and performance.  However, few people could spot the difference in a police line up, even if their life depended on it. In fact, one of the complaints users have had is that the number of app updates is not being reported correctly and this has still not been fixed.

Syncing takes longer, and back-ups are slower than an asthmatic snail towing a caravan up Mount Snowdon for a summer day out. iPhoneatlas.com claims that Apple TV remote pairing may have been affected by the update.

In fact, the only potential improvement from the update is when the iPhone is syncing, the “Info” tab no longer appears to lose the selected settings for syncing contacts, mailboxes. Generally though, the upgrade is a disappointment to anyone who wanted to see the digital jukebox make any of the improvements users wanted.
