The long awaited Acer One has finally made an appearance and it's listed for sale in Taiwan already with European availability starting in 6-10 days according to several etailers. The first model is the A110L which is the most basic out of three SKU's that Acer will launch.

The A110L comes with an Atom N270 processor, the 945GSE chipset, 512MB to 1GB of RAM depending on where you look, an 8.9in LED backlit LCD display with 1,024x600 resolution, an 8GB NAND flash module, a multi-format memory card reader, 802.11b/g WiFi, 10/100Mbit Ethernet, modem and three USB 2.0 ports.

It measures 249x170x29mm (WxDxH) and weighs in at 0.9kg. Again, depending on where you look it'll either come with a 2,200mAH 3-cell battery or a 4,400mAH 4-cell battery. It will use Linpus Linux Lite as its OS and it's divided up into four sections on the screen to make it easy to locate the applications you need. The sections are connect, work, fund and files.

The other two models, the A150L and A150X both comes with a 120GB hard drive, with the L version still using Linux while the X version gets, you guessed it, Windows XP. All models will be available in either blue and black or white and black.

Price wise the A110L is listed for as little as €290 in Taiwan and €299 in Europe, but seems to have an average price of around €329 (£261/$517) in Europe, with the A150L averaging around €359 and finally the A150X going for around €399.

You can find the Geizhals.at listing here and the Taiwanese listing here.
