Only at Intel's booth

According to a post on Digitimes, Intel is to show off its 45nm Quad Core Xeon processor in its booth at Computex next month. Harpertown, as this new CPU is code named, will not be shown at any partners booth, so you'll have to make your way to Intel's own booth to have a look see.

Apparently the Wolfdale-DP might also make an apperance, but once again only on Intel's stand. This is also a 45 nanometre part scheduled for launch in Q1 2008.

In contrast, AMD will have Barcelona chips with all its partners, although it looks like performance testing will only be allowed at the AMD booth.

Digitimes claims that AMD will be showing processors ranging in clock speeds from 1.9 to 2.6GHz at the show, but the fastest processor to be on sale initially will only be clocked at 2.3GHz, with the 2.6GHz part arriving at a later stage. Our sources disagree about the launch speeds.
