Opera Software launched a new version of their mobile browser, Opera Mini 4.1. The new version contains some improvements as well as new features.

Opera Software cites these flagship features:

- 50 % faster Webpage loading time compared to previous version
- Text-search on the Web-pages, to make your searches easier
- Phones with JSR-75 support enable downloading and uploading directly from your OperaMini browser, without switching to the phone's basic browser
- JSR-75 supporting phones also enable saving complete pages, for later offline viewing.
