Chinese promise to tighten up copyright

Will promote legal software


The glorious People’s Republic of China told US trade negotiators that it will bow to the imperialist lapdogs in the software and entertainment industry.

During a meeting in Washington Beijing promised that it would do more to protect intellectual property rights and combat piracy by promoting the use of legal software. China's commerce minister Chen Deming said that while Beijing agreed to address those longstanding U.S. complaints, American officials U.S-China Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade (JCCT) meeting also made a few promises.

This included addressing China's demands for greater exports of US high-technology products and to facilitate more Chinese investment in the United States.
