Mobile Web 2.0 market to surge

working for Juniper Research claim that the global market for Mobile Web 2.0 applications will soar to $22.4-billion in five years. That is more than a four-fold increase.

Juniper thinks that the increasing ability of users to generate such Web content using mobile phones and devices will push everything forward.

Ian Chard, a research analyst with Juniper, said that the mobile phone is carried by people most of the time which makes it a logical extension for the social network. A host of other collaborative Web 2.0 applications are being mobilized, he said.
