Gates is interested in developing a reactor which leaves far less radioactive waste. Gates met with the head of the Korean Nuclear Society, Chang Soon-heung, in Seattle and agreed to cooperate in the development of a sodium-cooled fast reactor.
SFRs are next-generation nuclear technology that use spent nuclear fuel rods from conventional reactors. This is not the first time that Gates has been involved with nuclear power. In 2010 he invested $35 million in a nuclear-power venture company TerraPower.
Of course he was involved with Vista and Windows ME which was an operating system which was famous for melting down all the way to China.
