Barnes & Noble had announced that some of its Nook devices will be available in the UK as of this Autumn as a part of the international expansion. In addition to devices, B&N plans to push the content as well via its new Nook.co.uk online store and brings some more competition to the Amazon's Kindle lineup.

The B&N announced that Nook Simple Touch and the Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight will be the "first products" which means that we might see the remaining Nook Color and the Nook Tablet sooner rather than later as well. In case you missed it, the Nook Simple Touch is a 6-inch 800x600 resolution e-ink e-reader with WiFi while the GlowLight model adds a neat feature that "bathes" the screen in light making night time reading a possibility, something that Kindle can't brag about.

Unfortunately, pricing has not been announced, but B&N did note that further product, pricing and availability details will be announced in the coming weeks.
