Apple's OS X Mountain Lion scheduled for July

During its WWDC event, Apple finally revealed the official launch date of its ninth release of OS X. According to Apple, the new OS X Mountain Lion is scheduled to be available in July.

Apple says the new OS X Mountain Lion will have more than 200 new features including Game Center feature with cross-platform support, AirPlay Mirroring for 1080p streaming from OS X to Apple TV or AirPlay compatible devices and new Safari with Power Nap feature, which will allow the device to download updates, new emails and other things while in standby mode. Also there are iCloud, Notification Center, Messages, Dictation, Facebook integration and more.

As noted, the new OS X Mountain Lion is scheduled to be available in July for US $19.99. The refreshed Airs and Macbook Pros, as well as the Retina one, will get free upgrades if bought before July, when it will most likely be a shipping system of choice.
