BenQ claims the slimmest 24-inch monitor

BenQ has announced what it claims to be the world's slimmest 24-inch widescreen LCD monitor. This new LCD measures about 6.1 cm (2.4-inch) at its thickest point and 2.3cm at its thinnest point.

Other notable features include a nice looking thin bezel and touch-sensitive buttons. The screen specs include 4,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness, 2ms GTG response time, full 1080p HD support, 1920 x 1200 resolution, 16.7 million colors and 160 degree viewing angle. As for inputs, the new Benq V2400W features DVI, HDMI and plain VGA analog input.

According to the press release, the new V2400W should be available in China and Asia by the end of March and sometime during April in Europe and North America. Unfortunately, its price has yet to be revealed.
