80Plus Gold certification and manual fan control
Cooler Master has revealed a new Silent Pro Hybrid line of power supply units that will feature 80Plus Gold certification, modular design and a option for manual fan control via seperate device.

The new Silent Pro Hybrid lineup includes 850, 1050 and 1350W models and all three feature single +12V rail and modular design, ATX12 v2.3 and EPS v2.92 complience, active PFC+, support for 4-way SLI/CrossfireX, Cooler Master's own Hybrid Transformer, Heat Transfer Technology and Hyper Path.

As noted, all three models are 80Plus Gold certified so they operate at over 90% efficiency. In case you are wondering, the 1300W one pumps out 105Amps on its +12V rail while the 1050 and 850W have to settle with 82 and 70Amps. All three models are cooled by a 135mm Suler Silent Hydraulic Bearings fan.

The Silent Pro Hybrid lineup will ship with 5.25-inch fan control device that allows user to regulate the fan speed manually and even shut it down completely. Of course, the fan automatically kicks back in if the temperature rises over 50 C or the power consumption goes over 200W. It is also important to note that Silent Pro Hybrid integrates 7V fan connectors and up to three system fans can be controlled via the 5.25-inch device.

The Silent Pro Hybrid series will be available in the US of A and Asia as of this month while Europe should get them sometimes in December. The price is set at US $199.99 for the 850W one, US $249.99 for the 1050W and US $299.99 for the 1300W model.
