New MW3 Bluetooth Headset, as well
Microsoft has confirmed yet another Limited Edition Xbox 360 console. This time, the Limited Edition console will be to celebrate the launching of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The console will arrive on November 8th in North America, as well as Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

The MW3 Limited Edition console will feature the MW3-themed Xbox 360 with a 320GB hard drive and two MW3-themed controllers. In addition, Buyers will get a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, exclusive MW3 avatar items and one month of Xbox Live Gold. As with previous Limited Edition Consoles, the MW3 console will feature special MW3 sounds for power on/off and disc eject.

For those COD fans that don’t need a new console, Microsoft will also be offering their new Bluetooth Headset painted in a matching MW3 theme to match the console. It will include the headset, as well as the charging cradle, and a special Xbox Live MW3 exclusive download token.

Microsoft is also making the MW3 wireless Xbox 360 controllers available separately for those that don’t need to buy a new console. The MW3 controllers will feature the new swivel D-Pad and a special Xbox Live MW3 exclusive download token with each controller.

The MW3 Bluetooth Headset will set you back $69.99 and the MW3 wireless Xbox themed controller will cost you $59.99. Both the MW3 Bluetooth Headset and MW3 wireless controller will arrive ahead of the console starting on October 11th. The Limited Edition MW3 console is available for pre-order now at most retailers and it will be sold for a $399 MSRP.

With the postponed release of the Limited Edition Star Wars console and the confirmed release of the Gears of War 3 console and now the MW3 console, those looking to upgrade to the new slim console will have a number of options from which to choose. The continued popularity of the Limited Edition consoles is not very surprising, as all three of the announced Limited Edition consoles really push boundaries of what is possible and they all three look exceptional. As a matter of fact, they look much better than what we have seen with many of the other Limited Edition offerings. If they continue to sell as they have, we expect Microsoft to release more of them as time goes by.
