Nintendo and Sony have been sued for patent infringement of wireless controller technologies by U.S. Company, Copper Innovations Group. Copper Innovations is claiming that Nintendo and Sony illegally copied a method of connecting and recognizing controller devices.
The lawsuit identifies the Wii Remote, Nunchuk, Sixaxis and Blu-ray remotes as infringing products. Microsoft was interestingly not named as having infringing products.
