Leaked Google document spills the beans
A leaked Google document has shown that Apple and Intel were each happy to burn a million dollars a month on Adwords. The document obtained by AdAge shows that 47 advertisers spent more than $1 million on advertising on Adwords during the month of June.

More than 71 Companies spent between $500,000 and $1 million, while 357 companies spent between $100,000 and $500,000. Amongst the top 1,500 advertisers, the majority spend between $10,000 and $100,000 on advertising on Adwords per month.

In June the biggest advertiser in June was AT&T, who spent $8.08 million on Google Adwords. AT&T is the third largest Google customer and spent $2.8 Billion on advertising in 2009.

Google is furious that the document was leaked and is apparently launching an investigation.
