Lenovo expects big things in 2008
Thinkpad market to grow
Bill Amelio, the chief executive of Lenovo, claims that 2008 will see the Chinese company make inroads into the U.S. market.
According to Associated Press, Amelio sees the market stablzsed by its ThinkPad notebook. He said that this will guard against any predicted downturn in the U.S. notebook market. The company is expected to make its first drive into the U.S. market early next year to push sales even further, he said.
The company is already seeing a soaring market demand in China, India and Southeast Asia, he said. He claimed that all systems were go for expanding into new markets in 2008.
