Baidu.com's CFO killed
Died on holiday
The CFO of China's number one Internet search engine, Baidu.com, has been killed in an accident while on holiday in China.
Shawn Wang, who joined the company in 2004, helped Baidu list on the NASDAQ stock exchange the following year.
He died on December 27 during a Christmas vacation in China, and his death was announced on the company's Website.
Robin Li, Chairman and Chief Executive, said in the statement that Shawn's leadership and vision helped transform Baidu into a leading U.S. public company, and his presence will be greatly missed.
