Outsourcing boom predicted


While the India IT outsourcing industry fights against a high Rupee, there are indications that the country might benefit from the U.S. fledgling economy.

The head of leading India computer services provider, Wipro, Azim Premji ,said that while the industry was suffering because of the Rupee's 12 percent gains against the dollar, a U.S. economic slowdown might force U.S. companies to cut IT budgets.

He said that this means that companies would be forced to outsource their operations away from the U.S.
