Expected to arrive in 7 to 14 days

Crysis is blowing off retailers shelves in North America and that is saying something, since sales were not expected to be as brisk as they have been with all of the other new titles out. In an interview with the Crysis hard core fan site, inCrysis, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli said that they are currently collecting feedback and suggestions from the user community for a patch that he expects to be available in the next 7 to 14 days.

Nvidia has also indicated that they are working with Crytek to improve performance of the driver due to reported performance issues. Roy Taylor from Nvidia has been quoted as saying, “Performance will improve, almost with every single driver drop and patch of the game. Literally, every day and week we keep working on the drivers and we can see improvements.”

ATI is also working to improve the driver performance of Crysis with all of its cards across the board. We asked ATI for more information on their plans and we will let you know the specifics once we have more to report.
