DSM-330 in Europe, Q4

D-Link and DivX has signed an agreement in which D-Link will be releasing the first DivX Connected device. The new device dubbed DSM-330 will most likely be based on the DivX Connected hardware platform that's currently being beta tested in the US.

The DSM-330 will allow for streaming of DivX and XviD content from a host PC and as such the DSM-330 should be an affordable solution for those wishing to stream content from their PC to their TV.

The good news is that the DSM-330 will hit Europe first with availability in Q4. The device should be available first in the UK, Germany and France.

We're not sure about the hardware specifications, but the DivX Connected beta hardware has an HDMI port, optical and coaxial S/PDIF, a pair of stereo RCA connectors, SCART, S-Video and composite video, RJ45 for 10/100Mbit Ethernet and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi.
