For 200M series
Nvidia has recently launched Geforce 200M which is its first 40nm product line and also its first DirectX 10.1 chip series.
Apparently Nvidia finally realized that ATI was right all along, and that DirectX 10.1 is the way to go. Naturally, when the company gets ready, it will launch its DirectX 11 mobile parts, but this won’t happen before sometimes in 2010, probably nine months or a year from now.
Nvidia
promises that many notebook manufacturers still have to officially announce
these chips and claims that more than a hundred manufactures will launch
systems powered by Geforce 200M 40nm chips.
Only a few
have officially confirmed this but Nvidia tells the world that manufactures,
all 100+ of them are planning to launch these chips by the end of the year.
