We managed to get our paws on a Radeon HD 4870 card, the card that we used to call RV770XT. This is a dual slot card with a single 6 -in power connector.

It should launch together with RV670PRO, Radeon HD 4850, by the end of the month, while its real availability is expected in July.

We know that the 500W PSU is enough for this card, which is a good sign, and 7.1 audio works with the DVI to HDMI converter that will come bundled with the card.
