Computex 08: Fudo touched it

Our colleagues from Vr-zone have managed to get a screenshot of the RV770PRO, commonly known as the HD 4850, and its Catalyst details screenshots. These screenshots show that the card can easily reach 700MHz for the GPU and give a score of P6466 in 3DMark Vantage when overclocked. The more interesting thing is that this Catalyst screenshot shows that the card's GPU temperature is 78 degrees, while its GPU activity is at 0%.

Our own Fudo managed to touch the card and we can confirm that the card was hot, but at the same time, so is Radeon 3850, and both cards work well. Stay tuned about Fudo's GTX 280 news, as he might managed to touch that one as well.

Radeon 4850 is single slot and runs hot, we would suggest that it gets up to 80 celsius, but it is stable at all times.

You can find those screeshots over at VR-zone.
