Silent launch for 45nm 3MB core

One of the most affordable 45nm Wolfdale dual cores is about to launch on April 20th. The new CPU will work at 2.53GHz, it has 3MB cache memory, a 1,066MHz FSB and it will debut for $137.

It will cost the same as the E4700 clocked at 2.60GHz with 2MB cache and a 65nm core and it will be some $30 cheaper than the E8200 45nm dual core at 2.66GHz clock with the full 6MB cache and FSB 1,333MHz.

The story behind the E7200 is quite simple, it is a Wolfdale dual core with the cache cut from 6MB to 3MB, and therefore the CPU ends up being cheaper. We are sure it will overclock quite well.

Nate from Legitreviews did a preview of this CPU here.
