Goes green with ECO 80 PSU's

Arctic Cooling has launched a new high efficient and greener PC case, the Silentium T ECO 80.

The ECO 80 is the new performance standard introduced by Arctic Cooling which requires the PFC above 95% instead of the standard 90%. The efficiency level is also 80 plus. The new Silentium T ECO 80 comes equipped with 550W PSU with a minimum efficiency of 82% and 86% at normal load. It also features an active PFC with power factor of 99%.

The new Silentium T ECO 80 uses the new thermodynamic concept that allows the air flow and the PSU position to be completely rearranged to get the maximum ventilation. It comes with temperature controlled Arctic Fans that feature patented vibration absorption. According to Arctic Cooling, the new Silentium T ECO 80 also features the so called "HDD muffler" which is used to lower the noise and vibration created by the hard drive.

Silentium T ECO 80 is available in five different front panel designs with the suggested price of USD $134.95 and Euro €99.55.
