Connects via USB

We found some information about a new add-on for the Eee PC, before it has even begun to sell and it's a Skype handset which will be known as the AiGuru U1.

It's a very basic Skype handset, but it has its own LCD display which will allow you to navigate through your contacts list as well as it will display your Skype credit.

It has a keypad for making calls as well as a couple of menu and navigation keys. It's Linux compatible and there might be a chance that it'll work with any version of Linux.

Asus has also updated the AiGuru S2 to include support for Windows Vista's SideShow feature and you can get RSS feeds and email notifications directly to it.

We don't have a picture at the moment, but you can check out a drawing from the quick installation guide for the AiGuru U1 here
