IDF 2007:But only for that

Scull trail will be Intel's first SLI high end success. After a long time Intel conviced Nvidia to let them Intel go but this is a Scull trail exclusive only.

You can forget about official SLI support on upcoming X38 motherboards as Nvidia wants to sell its 780a chipsets to Intel's high end customers.

We dont even have to say that Intel is not really happy about it. Intel will show some cool demos at the show and some of them includes Nehalem and Scull trail the dual socket quad core machine, with eight cores, that Intel has been showing for a while.
