After $10.00 rebate

Just week
after launch, ATI has decided to drop the price and put even more pressure on Nvidia with Radeon HD 4770. The new price for this first 40nm GDDR5 supporting chip is now $89.99 but this is after you collect $10.00 mail in rebate. You can get them here.

Sapphire, HIS and PowerColor are the three who offer cards for such a great price and we are sure that this price move should affect Europe shortly enough.

The main competitor Geforce 9800GT is beaten while now there is much more distance between 4770 and GTS 250 as the cheapest we could find sells for $104.99 and this is after MSI gives you $30 mail in rebate back while the rest are selling for average $119.99 or more.

Surprisingly enough ATI still has enough HD 4770 in stock, and  even Nvidia predicted some very bad yields and bad availability.
