What a date

You might remember that a month ago we wrote that Intel will change all of its logos and if you haven’t seen them before you can do that here.

It turns out that Intel plans to launch its new logos on April 1st and we don’t need to remind you that this is internationally April fool’s day. Someone at Intel’s marketing really didn’t think this through, as most of the people won’t believe that logos are real at least until late week 14 or should we say a few days after April 1st.

We don’t like the format of logos but refresh is always a nice thing and after a while we will get use to it. Not that we have any choice, it is as democratic as Facebook changes that everyone hates so much.

We still remember a bold move of Eric B. Kim, ex-Samsung boy who as a VP of Intel’s marketing changed the sacred Intel inside logo to something more appropriate for the new millenium and eventually it did work out well.
