Retailers expect them in stock soon

Intel's new flagship Core i7 975 processor should launch in early April, at least if the several retailers and distributors who have it listed are right.

Retailers expect to have the new Bloomfield in stock in the first week of April, and as expected the list price is €995 or more, depending on the market. The Core i7 975 Extreme Edition runs at 3.3GHz, has a total of 1MB of L2 cache and 8MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 130W.

We were expecting the 975 in late April or May, so it is possible that the retailers are just using an earlier date to get more pre-orders. Anyway you can find some of the listings here and here.
