Part of Digital Life series

After releasing its overclocking friendly Quantum Force X58 motherboards, Foxconn has decided to launch yet another one based on the same chipset, but this time as a part of its Digital Life series. The new Renaissance II X58 motherboard lacks some features that can be found on Quantum Force series but we hope that the price will be also be much lower.

The new Digital Life Renaissance II supports Intel's Core i7 processors, has six DDR3-1600 memory slots for some triple-channel fun and four PCI-Express x16 slots. Although it lacks SAS connectors and that insane looking cooling system, the new Renaissance comes with six SATA, two eSATA ports, Gigabit LAN, Firewire, and 7.1-channel audio.

As a part of Digital Life series, it doesn't have on board Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons, but as we said before, this one should hopefully have a much lower price. The current Renaissance motherboard can be found for €266,66 at Ditech.
