Future models to feature bigger screens

According to
Andy Tung, MSI's US sales director, the company will shortly launch an upgraded version of its U120 netbook, dubbed U123.

Unlike its predecessor, the U123 will feature the new Atom N280 processor, and will support up to 2GB of memory. It will be available in April, and will ship in four colours, with 6-cell or 9-cell batteries.

Commenting rumours that other vendors are developing 11.6 and 12-inch netbooks, Tung said MSI is developing products along similar lines, and that it can launch them, although he didn't set a specific time frame.

MSI will also launch its MacBook Air inspired X320/X340 thin 13-incher sometime in April.
